Identifying Modern slavery
It can be hard to know what signs to look for if you think you or someone you know might be experiencing modern slavery.
The International Labour Organisation (ILO) has identified 11 indicators to help people recognise when someone may be at risk of forced labour.
These indicators were first developed for forced labour, which is just one type of modern slavery, many of the survivors in our community have shared that they feel these apply to most forms of modern slavery, such as servitude and forced marriage.
